Backyard Deck Design Plan

This week, I am dreaming about what our deck could look like. As the summer temperatures rise, I can't wait to have BBQs & enjoy dinner al fresco. The last time we were at the house, I took some measurements but I think I made an error entering them on my phone so these designs are based on estimates.
On the left side of our deck is an existing pergola. The lower half of the deck is the part that connects to the house. On the left is space for the BBQ (and a natural gas hookup!) and to the right are doors that lead out onto the deck. The deck leads to decent sized lawn area.
I drew up 4 designs and again asked your opinions on Instagram.
The patio furniture that we recently purchased is modular so it can be connected however we wish. The chairs can be used as separates if needed and stack for storage!

Designs 1 and 2 overwhelmingly won the vote, as the large white circle represents a fire table. This is something I've had my eye on for a while, but will probably purchase next year.

Design 3 and 4 focus more on dining which most of you did not favour! The dining table, chairs and bistro area are just concepts and not items we have purchased yet. The nice thing about buying slowly is that you get to see how items work in your space, and what your functional needs are too. Remember, home takes time. Making upgrades and changes to our old (new to us) house will take time, money and effort but I'm excited to see how we can turn this house into our home!
